After flying my Blade mCX helicopter a lot, I’ve decided to move to bigger, collective pitch helis… It all started with the $30 HK450 from HobbyCity, but hey, for $30 more you can get a full aluminum version from CopterX! They’re clone versions of the best-selling Align T-Rex 450 and all parts are interchangeable.

It’s going to be a long build process for a first-timer like me, but I’ve found many useful videos already. Mikey from MikeysRC has a lot of great info for beginners and a series of videos on building the HK450. Can’t wait to receive my package from Hong Kong!
